Graduate Study at the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory
I am currently seeking students interested in pursuing Masters or Ph.D. level graduate work at the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory (CBL) in Solomons, Maryland on the Patuxent River. Specifically, I am looking for students with an interest in coastal ecology and biogeochemistry and a desire to apply numerical modeling to understand dissolved oxygen dynamics, productivity and nutrient cycling, and sediment-water fluxes in coastal ecosystems. Graduate students at CBL receive their degree from the University of Maryland as part of the Marine-Estuarine-Environmental Science program. Applications to the program are submitted through The Graduate School at the University of Maryland. Interested students should contact me to inquire about current funding availability and ongoing projects.
